Every year the ACFE’s Design Manager brands and designs the website for our largest annual conference and I make those countless Photoshop files a reality. I love this project not only because it's a complex site from a CSS perspective, but it always challenges me as a developer since our team uses this site to try new and bigger things. Together the Design Manager, Web Strategist, IT Architect and I discuss the functionality stakeholders have requested and determine what the end product will be. More often than not, my responsibilities result in finding and learning new JavaScript APIs and ways to manipulate the asp.Net environment with the front-end... work can't get much better than this!
